This FREE Grade Tracker Google Sheets Template allows secondary students (and their teachers) to track their grades. I created this template for a high-school teacher who wanted her students to be able to track their weekly progress in each of their classes over the course of a semester.
This spreadsheet makes use of the built-in Sparkline Graphs function, a hidden gem of a formula that’s simple to add to any Google Sheets cell. Check out Google’s official documentation for more information about Sparkline Graphs. My template requires no special codes or Add-ons; there are just a few hidden columns and rows that contain the following helper cells:
- Rows 61 – 74: A table that assigns numeric values to each traditional A – F letter grade
- Columns Y – AE: Looks up the numeric value of each letter grade
- Columns C – D: A hidden “Period 0” for extra class periods
