Google Workspace Users! Have you ever wished Google would do something…extra? Translate Google Slides presentations? Create custom-filtered Google Sheets tabs? Automatically create and send custom email messages that pull data from a Google Form submission?

You can hack Google! …with Google Apps Script! This easy-to-use, yet powerful tool is already included in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and more — all you need is your Google Workspace account and a sense of adventurous curiosity!

You will leave this session with a curated collection of examples, which you are welcome to copy and adapt for your own uses.

Your presenter is a District technology specialist and Google Certified Trainer with 20 years of classroom teaching experience, and is not a coding genius. This is OK, though, because you don’t need to be a genius to use Google Apps Script! All tools demonstrated are vetted for student data privacy and are being used in real classrooms.
